This commit introduces a comprehensive update to the theme tokens in the
Cunningham package. The previous color definitions have been replaced
with a new structure that includes global color tokens for branding and
contextual elements. Additionally, the SCSS and JS files have been
refactored to align with this new token architecture, enhancing
maintainability and ensuring a cohesive design system across the
application. The TypeScript configuration has also been updated to
support JSX syntax.
Revert the changes made in the d05e385 commit, it was causing IDE
warnings in stories files about source files that cannot be resolved,
but in reality Storybook really base its config on the local tsconfig.json,
so excluding stories.tsx files was just a ugly temporary fix.
Prettier had some missing extensions in the config, this commit
added them, we then prettified the whole project. We
ignore the `cunningham-tokens` files.
Since our upgrade from Typescript 5.0.4 to 5.1.3 some errors started to
occur when running yarn build in .stories.tsx files. Please see the
related issue: https://github.com/storybookjs/storybook/issues/23249.
Adding this ignore clause partitions the storybook compilation and the
package compilation which represents how things really work together,
thus making the irrelevant errors to be removed.
Fixes#109
Generated types for the react package were broken because they were
still using absolute imports which cannot work in standalone .d.ts
files because they cannot rely on the local baseUrl compiler option.
Thus, we introduced an alias that we are able to reliably replace
during type generation.
The DataGrid component can be considered as the core one, which provides
a full controlled component, but more complicated than SimpleDataGrid
which is based on DataGrid. SimpleDataGrid is intended to give a simple
ready-to-use data grid for client side data for example.
These files will be used to define the custom design tokens per components.
They are automatically aggregated by the packages/react/cunningham.ts file,
this is why handling typescript config file was important.
This repo only contains a Button which is here only for demonstration purpose.
Its purpose is to contain all the future react-based components of the
design system.
